Biography
Dr Georgios Michailidis graduated from the School Agriculture, Department of Animal Science, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2000. He continued his studies for a doctoral thesis at the School of Cell and Molecular Biosciences, University of Newcastle upon Tyne, U.K., were he obtained his Ph.D. at 2004. He then worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute of Agrobiotechnology, CERTH, Greece, until 2007. At this year he became Lecturer in School of Agriculture, Department of Animal Production, Laboratory of Physiology of Reproduction of Farm Animals, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Since 2012 he is Assistant Professor in this University.
Research Interest
His research interests include: Animal Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Physiology of Reproduction of Farm Animals and Reproductive Immunology.
