Dr. Gary A. Piazza is a Professor of Oncologic Sciences and Pharmacology in Mitchell Cancer Institute, University of South Alabama, USA. He earned his B.S degree in Biology and Psychology from Dominican University and Ph.D. in Pharmacology from University of Alabama at Birmingham. He completed his postdoctoral study from Fox Chase Cancer Center.

Dr. Gary A. Piazza research interests are cancer chemopreventive activity of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, phosphodiesterases, cyclic gmp signaling, and apoptosis, high throughput screening and cellular imaging, cancer drug discovery and development.
