For several years Erik Petersson have taught at Uppsala University and in recent years also at SLU. In addition, for several years he have taught and organized shorter courses (in Elfiske og Fiskmarkering) that were organized at the Fisheries Procurement Station in Älvkarleby. The target groups have been different, ranging from private consultants to postgraduate students. The lessons have been both practical and theoretical. Recently, Erik Petersson, together with colleagues at the department, have put together a web training in experimental animal science with a focus on test fishing.

Erik Petersson’s research interests include environmental monitoring, fish labeling, how to get farmed fish to be done as well as possible and analyzes of large old data sets.
