Biography
Dr. Asli Aslan is an Assistant Professor at Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health at Georgia Southern University. She is an international expert in water microbiology, water quality and public health. She has conducted and participated in several health-related water microbiology projects worldwide. Dr. Aslan has authored various manuscripts. She is currently the coordinator of International Collaboration for Sewage (IC Sewage); a global network that connects experts in water quality research. She is also a CMAS 1* instructor diver with over 300 scientific dives.
