Biography

Alpar Lazar scope is to investigate the deep structure of sleep EEG activity in relation to circadian rhythm, cognition and metabolism and the way it changes over time as patients carrying the HD (Huntington’s disease) gene mutation approach disease onset. For this he use different mathematical procedures which can detect even minor changes in the sleep EEG. He also study the efficacy of non-pharmaceutical approaches to improve sleep quality in manifest patients with HD.

Research Interest

Alpar Lazar main research area is sleep, circadian rhythm and cognition in neurodegenerative diseases.
