Journal on Chromosome

Journal of genetic disorders and genetic reports publishes articles on genetic chromosomes which provide the study of the role of genetic factors in determining health and disease in families and in populations, and the interplay of such genetic factors with environmental factors. Chromosomes, made of protein and one molecule of DNA, which contains an organisms genetic instructions, passed down from parents, are thread-like molecules carries, hereditary information for everything from height to eye color. The sex chromosomes are referred to as X and Y. The combination of X and Y determines a person’s sex. Human females have two XX chromosomes while males possess an XY pairing. This XY sex-determination system is found in most mammals as well as some reptiles and plants. The journal publishes quality articles in open access which increases visibility and readership and spreads knowledge among a wider population.
