Bioinformatics is a scientific field that is used to store, organize, analyze and retrieve large extensive data for various experiments. Bioinformatics is a combination of two scientific branches, i.e. computer science and biology. It involves application of statistics, mathematics and engineering. It implies use of various tools and software for data management and analysis. Common tools used in the study are Java, C#, XML, Perl, C, C++, Python, R etc. Journal of Applied Bioinformatics & Computational Biology is a peer review, hybrid journal which finds wide scope under the journals in Bioinformatics.
