Biography

Malik Ashtar currently works at the Center for Condensed Matter Physics and Materials Physics, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Malik does research in Physical Chemistry, Nanotechnology and Materials Chemistry. In addition, Malik is working on exploration of new frustrated rare-earth magnets in pursuit intriguing magnetic states.

Study of the Electrical Properties of Cr Doped Ni- Zn Ferrites as a Function of Temperature

Cr doped Ni-Zn ferrite powder with chemical formula Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2- xCrxO4 (0.1 ≤ x ≤ 0.4) was synthesized using With Out Water and Surfactants (WOWS) sol-gel method. The variation of electrical parameters like resistivity and mobility as a function of temperature was investigated in the range of 433 - 770 K.
