Biography
Dr. Wade R Marcum is an Assistant Professor, Department of Nuclear Engineering and Radiation Health Physics at Oregon State University. he also holds the position of Reactor Operator, Oregon State TRIGA® Reactor (OSTR).
Dr. Marcum’s research interests include nuclear reactor thermal hydraulics, computational fluid dynamics, reactor safety, flow induced vibration, fluid structure interactions, heat and mass transfer, advanced thermal hydraulic instrumentation, flow visualization, and advanced reactor design. Dr. Marcum is currently working on the Hydro-Mechanical Fuel Test Facility project, and the leads the Laser Imaging of Fluids and Thermal (LIFT) laboratory.
