Sajjad Hussain is a Professor at Department of Horticulture, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences & Technology, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, Pakistan. He received a Doctoral Degree . in Molecular biology and Biochemistry from International Centre of Agricultural Research for Development (CIRAD) and National Institute for Agronomic Research (INRA) Corse, Francein the year of 2011. He is a graduated in Agriculture (Horticulture) from Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan in the year of 2003, with an immediate post-graduation in Agriculture (Horticulture) from Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan in the year of 2005.  He served as a Professor for 5 years in Department of Horticulture, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences & Technology, Bahauddin Zakariya University. As a Professor, he is a recipient of many awards and grants for his valuable contributions and discoveries in agriculture. His research interests, as a Professor lie in Genetic transformation, Chitinase gene, GUS gene, Grape, Transformation efficiency. He is the Editorial Board Member of many peer reviewed journals and his area of expertise, as a Professor credits him with many publications in national and international journals. He is committed to highest standards of excellence and it proves through his authorship of many books.
