Biography
Dr. Douglas long-standing interest in reproductive medicine has led her to combine patient care with basic and clinical research. Dr. Douglas received both her MD and PhD degrees from Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Douglas received several awards for teaching and research during her postgraduate training. Her research focuses on understanding how the reproductive system develops and what is required for successful embryo implantation and pregnancy. Dr. Douglas has been awarded grants from the Reproductive Scientist Development Program and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to continue her basic research.
Research Interest
Dr. Douglas has a special interest in fertility treatment for individuals with co-existing medical conditions such as HIV and patients experiencing recurrent pregnancy loss.
