It is permanent advisor Professor and Coordinator Deputy Program Graduate in gastroenterology and hepatology at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. He is director of the World Gastroenterology Organisation (WGO) Porto Alegre Hepatology Training Center and councilor of the International Association for the Study of the Liver (IASL). Member of committees Scientific Committee, Liver Interest Group and Training Center Committee WGO. Member of the House National Technical Liver Transplantation and the Technical Advisory Committee on Viral Hepatitis of the Ministry of Health of Brazil.
