Dr. John A Sorrentino is an Associate Professor of Economics at Department of Economics, Temple University, Pennsylvania, USA. Dr. John A Sorrentino did PhD in Economics from Purdue University. Dr. Sorrentino received various awards and honors. He is a member of various societies like International Society for Ecological Economics, League of Conservation Voters and many more.

Dr. John A Sorrentino's areas of interest are: Applied microeconomics, energy economics, environmental/ecological/sustainability economics, & some geographical information systems. Most of his research activity has been applying economics methods to the study of energy & the environment. Lately, he has added geographic information systems to the tools he uses in this endeavor. The topics that he has dealt with over the years include waste-oil recycling, aircraft noise abatement, emissions from vapor degreasers, & sustainable housing placement.
