Biography
Dr. Hemant Khanna obtained his PhD in 2001 from University of Delhi (New Delhi, India) and received his postdoctoral training at the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Michigan. Dr. Khanna is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Ophthalmology, UMASS Medical School.
Research Interest
Research interest of Hemant Khanna include Mechanism of protein targeting and polarized trafficking via the connecting cilium of photoreceptors, with an aim to delineate the pathogenesis of associated degenerative disorders, such as Retinitis Pigmentosa and Leber congenital amaurosis.
