Hafeez Ahmad Sadaqat is currently working as Executive Member in Punjab Agricultural Research Board for Monitoring and Evaluation of PARB CGS funded projects. He also worked in the capacity of Executive Member Planning and Programming in PARB. Before joining PARB he has been working as Professor in Department of Plant Breeding and Genetics University of Agriculture Faisalabad. He has more than 27 years experience in teaching and research in the domain of agriculture.

He after obtaining MSc (Hons) in Agriculture from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad earned PhD from the University of Liverpool UK, and Post-Doc from the University of Manitoba, Canada in the subject of Agriculture. He has published 96 scientific publications including 65 research papers in Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized journals. He is coauthor in three books and has completed a number of research projects. He is Higher Education Commission recognized supervisor and has supervised 5 PhD and 40 MSc (Hons) Agri graduates. He has been the secretary of HEC National Curricular Revision Committee on Plant Breeding and Genetics and also on the panel of experts of NAEAC to administer process of accreditation program. Dr. Hafeez Sadaqat has served various R&D organizations including Ayub Agriculture Research Institute, Onsite Water Management, Command Water Management and Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission in different capacities. During his service at University of Agriculture Faisalabad he has been on various academic and statutory bodies and served in multifarious capacities. He has been leading research team in the university deputed for genetic improvement in oilseeds and fodder crops for hybrid and variety development having better performance in yield and quality, disease resistance, stress tolerance and has developed number of elite lines/hybrids in different crops. His other competence includes prioritizing, monitoring, and outreach technology transfer of agricultural research. Dr. Hafeez Sadaqat is well known and well respected among academia and research community and is on the panel of experts of various universities and research institutes. He, in recognition of his professional excellence was granted Research Productivity Award by Pakistan Council for Science and Technology for 2011 and 2012.
