Biography
Eunice Chung Wong PhD, is a behavioral scientist at the RAND Corporation. Dr. Wong received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Research Interest
Her research broadly focuses on mental health treatment access and quality of care and the implementation of evidence-based practices into community settings. Much of her research has involved trauma-exposed populations and underserved communities. Current projects include evaluating primary care collaborative care interventions for PTSD at federally qualified health centers and at military treatment facilities, the mental health care of Cambodian refugees and the mental health outcomes of their U.S. born children, the implementation of brief screening and referral interventions for mental health and substance abuse problems in African American churches in Los Angeles, and the California statewide evaluation of prevention and early intervention programs for mental illness stigma and discrimination reduction.
