Abstract

Exercise-Association between Rs6226 and Rs6224 Polymorphisms of the Furin Gene and Cardiovascular Diseases

Genotyping was conducted on 504 subjects with a mean age of 56.7 ± 9.5 years. Allelic discrimination assay was used to detect rs6226 and rs6224 polymorphisms. Along with echocardiography and BP, vascular compliance of large (C1) and small (C2) arteries was also measured.
