SPLIT-LEG POSITION PRONE POSITION PERCUTANEOUS NEPHROLITHOTOMY: INITIAL EXPERIENCES
Introduction: Split-leg prone PCNL can reduce operation time and free stone rate due to combination with endoscopic intrarenal surgery. The effect and saferty of split-leg prone PCNL are evaluated. Objectives: Our aim was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) in the reformed PRONE SPLIT-LEG position from 07/2019 to 12/2019 at Binh Dan hospital. Methods: Ten patients with renal stones underwent prone split-leg PCNL. All outcome data are collected and reported. Results: Stone free rates (SRT) is 90% (9/10). One case has residual stone fracgments >4mm.Average putting urethral catheter time are 13 minutes in female and 21 minutes in male. Postoperatively, 2 cases need blood transfution and 3 cases have increased leucocyte count without a fever. Conclusions: Prone split-leg PCNL is safe, convenience and promising in reducing operative time and developments in endoscopic combination intrarenal surgery. Keywords: Spilt-leg prone PCNL
