Spinal Cord Ectopic Lymphoid Tissue in a Fallow Deer

A 1.5 year old male fallow deer presented with weakness and neurologic signs. Microscopic findings within the spinal cord included ectopic lymphoid tissue and chronic granulomatous meningeal inflammation. This case highlights the potential for chronic inflammation to elicit ectopic lymphoid formation in unexpected tissues.
