Rare Case of Perichondritis Following Snake Bite
The case understudy describes a non-venomous snakebite injury to the ear leading to acute perichondritis in the UK, an unusual incident. Extensive literature search was carried out using Pubmed central, MEDLINE, Embase, Cochrane database and hand searching of peer-reviewed journals. There has been no reported case of perichondritis following snakebite in UK or rest of the world.
