Medical Informatics is the branch of Science. It is an amalgamation of medical science and information science and computer science, Medical Informatics is a rapidly developing scientific field that uses computers and information technology to gain, store, analyze, communicate and display medical information and knowledge. Worldwide use of computer technology in medicine began in the early 1950s with the rise of the computers.
