Hybrid Circuit Breaker An uninterrupted solution for Single Bus System

The protection of Single bus system is a bigger challenge from phase to phase and phase to ground faults in this era. Whenever the fault occurs on the system the faulty section is to be isolated from healthy line. It is very difficult to isolate the radial system as loads are solely depends on the single line to avoid interruption in such line Hybrid circuit breakers are used. This paper will be the comparative analysis between the operation of Single breakers and hybrid breakers implemented on Single bus system. The EHV line is being taken for study and simulates though PS-CAD.
