Cutaneous Lupus Erythematosus and Ocular Manifestations - Case Report
Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic multisystem autoimmune disease that may cause constitutional or organ- specific symptoms. The skin, mucous membranes, joints, kidney, brain, serous membranes, lung, heart, and occasionally the gastrointestinal tract may be all involved. Constitutional symptoms consist of fever, malaise, fatigue, weight loss, lymphadenopathy, and anorexia.
