An Unusual Intraventricular Lesion – Septum Pellucidum Tuberculoma
Intracranial tuberculomas are rather common lesions in developing world. Brain tuberculosis is usually parenchymal; Intraventricular tuberculosis is very rare and few cases have been described in the literature. A 13 years old male was brought in our institute with complaints of headache, vomiting, and altered sensorium. CT scan of brain revealed an intraventricular lesion with obstructive hydrocephalus. Patient underwent surgery and final histopathology revealed tuberculous infection.
