Heart Research Foundation of Sacramento

The Heart Research Foundation of Sacramento was founded in 1977 and is governed by a board of directors. The Foundation is a private, non-profit, tax deductible organization whose purpose is to promote the advancement of professional and public knowledge concerning the causation, prevention and treatment of heart disease. It is northern California’s premier cardiovascular care center which is characterized by a dedicated group of board-certified specialists, state-of-the-art clinical practice, extensive clinical research and broad-based educational programs designed for physicians, patients and the public at large. The center provides complete range of services that include all aspects of adult diagnostic and therapeutic cardiology. In addition, to this unique subspecialty centers focuses on the treatment of adult congenital heart disease, congestive heart failure and cardiac transplant, complex lipid analysis, nuclear imaging, geriatric cardiology, peripheral vascular imaging and intervention, as well as complex coronary percutaneous intervention. Our in-house laboratory specializes in all aspects of lipid analysis and offers routine laboratory testing with one-day turnaround for most tests.
