About Applied immunology

Immunology is a broad branch of biomedical science that covers the study of all aspects of the immune systems in all living organisms. It deals with the physiological functioning of the immune system in states of both health and disease. The immune system is the defense against all the pathogens that we may encounter during our life and it consists of 2 main systems: the innate immune system and the adaptive immune system.
